THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH MANY TRIMET PEOPLE
Here was have a supervisor who have absolutely no experience medically making determinations that are DEAD WRONG. This supervisor says Angie is a FAKE, he is dead wrong and has no business making this sort of statements.

You're absolutely, right, Al. Having been a service supervisor for a short time at another transit agency, you do what the situation calls for no matter what your personal opinion may be.
Although I do not know Angie or the history she has with Trimet, I was confronted once by a situation where a passenger habitually claimed he was having some kind of medical event. Although my suspicion was that he was either faking these episodes or had some type of weird condition of hypochondria, all I did with each incident was to handle it as if the first time encountered with that particular individual. It wasn't my call to make a medical evaluation even though I felt strongly he was taking advantage of the agency's resources to obtain something not normally afforded to the general bus-riding public.
In my opinion, it was definitely not appropriate for this supervisor to express such an opinion over the air. I had the opportunity to discuss opinions on individuals and even mock some passengers and operators for their behavior, if warranted, with my colleagues off the air or over a beer at the end of the day. However, why a supervisor would do it over the air where not only his superiors have direct access to witness the impropriety but the general public as well is beyond me.
Angie needs to have a full time attendant with her while on public transit to help her through her "episodes". I'll give you one, maybe two..or hell, feelin generous at Christmas..three supervisors that are not doctors or trained medical staff that can't medically say what she's going thru...any more than YOU CAN Dr. Al.
However, that being said, after giving you THREE supervisors to back up your claims, I can dispute them by saying that Angie is VERY WELL KNOWN throughout the TriMet supervisor circles (who are not doctors but see the REST of her act pre and post seizure), both Road & Rail...AND the emergency responders/cops/firemen as well (who ARE trained responders) know her very well-the actual BRIEF period of actual "seizure" MIGHT be true but the act she pulls before and after is pure b.s. Nothing more.
When over a dozen DIFFERENT cops and supervisors have written her exclusion upon exclusion for her disruptive behavior, some running 2 or 3 concurrently, there is more to her than a simple sseizure. They can't ALL be wrong and you, with your extensive medical background, be the only one right.
Yeah, let one more crackpot dig into the TriMet coffers. I'm just saying there's alot note going on with her than what you know or care to reveal.
*there's a lot more going on... (not note) sorry.
She does impeded public transportation for sure. But the seizures are real. The two items have nothing to do with each other.
