TRIMET HITS MILESTONE

For the first time in Trimet history (so I am told by people who know these sorts of things) there are no 1600/1700/1800 buses being used! They are all low-floors in the field.

Congratulations Trimet, you made it to the modern age!

On the weekends it's easy, when it happens during the week then let me know

Sloppy reporting. Henry is right, they're all still in use as well as either the 1400 or 1600's, which are even older, which are still being used right near you Al on the 51 route.

As you can see by this screenshot which lists all the buses in service at that particular time there were no 1600/1700/1400/1800 buses on the road

As was said- maybe on weekends? This Monday morning (12/9) I was next to several 1400's, 1700's and 2100's.

Lots of high floors still in action during the commute!

But even on a weekend it's a first!

To be clear, as we deduced, Saturday was the first day that every block ran a low-floor vehicle. They are using 1700s out of Merlo for extra service/fills on weekends.

On weekdays, all long haul runs (running am rush to pm rush or later) are signed as low floor except 45/68, 43/69 and 47/71, and buses on lines 34, 39, 63, 80, 81, and 152. Otherwise, 1400s, 1700s, 1801, 1900s, and 2100s are only used on rush hour runs. 2000s are usually only used on rush hour runs unless absolutely necessary. They run all day on weekends though.
