The biggest criminal of all-FRED HANSEN

This man self created his own myth, robbed the treasury, entered into agreements he knew wouldn't be honored, then left the country.
He had all the right connections here in Portland and in government. He left Trimet a wildly rich man with an obscene pension.

There has never been one story from the mainstream media about his outrageous $16,700/mo pension. 
Plenty of stories about union health care, zero stories about the thief that robbed Trimet's treasury.
Of course none of it could have been done without the cooperation of that board of complicit sock puppets who were happy to give away the store.

But Hansen said the agency's economic troubles, which have chipped away at his aggressive expansion of high-frequency bus service, had nothing to do with his decision.
"There's never a right time to leave," he said. "But I want to explore some other things."
Asked if he knew where he is going next, Hansen said, "Nope, nope."(this was a total lie, I actually broke the story of him going to Australia)

George Passadore, president of the TriMet board, said Hansen's contract does not include a retirement package beyond what any other agency employee would get. (Passadore was a lying piece of shit) In 2009, his annual salary was $250,365.95.  
Hansen said he plans to stay in the Portland area. The TriMet board has started the search for a replacement.
"Despite the worst recession since the Great Depression," Hansen said, "I think I've left the organization in very good shape."

Lies and more lies, that's what you get from the people running your transit agency
