This is suspicious

I've been watching Trimet events and the reaction to them for years. Whenever I see a sudden switch in the social media I am always curious.

Trimet posted that 'apology' on its Facebook page. What I find odd about it is the gushing praise in the comments section.

4 straight days of poor service and gushing praise? Something doesn't add up.  Reading all these ridiculous gushy comments from people who supposedly have been beaten up for 4 consecutive days I'm sorry, it just doesn't make much sense.

Something else is going on here because its so different from the normal Trimet facebook post and is totally opposite from what I see on Twitter.

How can anybody actually be supportive of an agency in continuous fail mode? You can read the gush below the break

Susan Griffin All in all I know trimet... Max is the best public transportation in the nation. I've lived in several cities, Denver, Dallas., Miami, Colorado springs, Lexington, etc. I'm glad to live in a city that I can get anyplace at pretty much anytime.

Steve Allen I was on my way to work on one of the days heading east from downtown. The green/red lines were not crossing the steel but I was quickly
Directed to a shuttle bus and simply crossed the river, then hopped on the green line heading east. I was on time and even with the small delay, didn't sweat it. Trimet did a good job dealing with the issues in my opinion, thanks.

Fiema Kurinzi Trimet, thank you. This apology and explanation is exactly what we needed as riders. Personally, I was furious because I'm a daily commuter and one way was taking over 3 hours. As riders we're often left in the dark and are unaware of what's going on. Thank you for all that you do, trimet and thank you for this post.

Al if you don't believe these people are real, why don't you contact them? I mean - it's facebook - not that hard to message these people directly.

Exactly see if you can't contact these people. And if they think we are all doing a fine job then hoe come management isn't saying thank you to us.

I think they are 'real' people but there is something odd about those comments, they seem so similar.


And I've never seen anything like that on the Trimet Facebook page.

Point of information: the positives represented 1/2 of all comments.
that seems to be pretty standard around here. 1/2 the populace loves Trimet no matter what they other 1/2 are not impressed

Most of them seem young. Wasn't Trimet just hiring a marketing intern? Maybe participation on facebook was part of the job description!
