They are checking all drivers now to see if they are fit for duty. The station agent will be the judge. Isn't this going over board. What makes them fit for duty to judge others. How about Neil is he fit for duty. Shouldn't he have his head examined.

They've been doing fit for duty checks at rail since the start. It's an FTA requirement. This isn't news. You have a Commercial Driver License. The fit check is very very basic. Its not like a strip search or anything.
You sign in, they look for obvious signs of impairments and you're on your way. The only difference is now when you sign in, you sign in in the presence of a Station Agent. Again, nothing new at rail. A non issue.
This is NOT rail. It's bus!
